Only know cure is Graduation!
When you think the last month before graduation will be the easiest…wait until your last month as an undergrad. I literally have 2 assignments, 2 tests and 1 essay preventing me from walking that stage and it’s so hard to find the motivation to study and finish.
For many, beginning an assignment is much harder than finishing it. This semester I struggled more than anything to begin assignments and procrastinating did not help. Knowing that you’re almost done should be motivation enough to get you through the last month but for many senioritis settles in and all of sudden you are left with a lot of assignments and not a lot of time.
It’s like you’re almost there but you’re not. Think back to when you made the decision to go to college. What was your reason? Maybe it changed throughout the years as each semester challenged you or maybe it stayed the same all of these years. Use those reason(s), whatever it is and finish strong.
As a freshman you dreamed of walking and each semester as you see your friends graduate you can’t help but to think you are closer and closer to making that a reality. So why do you doubt yourself now?
And that’s what I keep reminding myself. I can and so can you. For many these are the last school assignments, essays or projects we will ever have to do in our lives. So stop procrastinating and finish them.
Don’t be that kid that doesn’t graduate because they got too lazy their last semester instead be the one that is smiling as they walk that stage.
