I was born on Tuesday, June 6th, 1995 in Los Angeles, California but raised in Houston, Texas. I grew up in a Mexican-American home where we spoke both English and Spanish. I am the oldest of 4 and our childhood consisted of Disney movies, road trips, riding our bikes, and driving our parents insane.
I am an alumnus of the University of Houston….Go Coogs! I have a BA degree in Communications with a specialization in Journalism and Spanish. A couple of organizations I was part of were the Women’s Association of Communication, MASSO, and a sorority called Sigma Kappa.

I wrapped up my time writing stories for the East Texas community as a Digital Content Producer for KYTX CBS19. I’m looking for a new opportunity to continue to grow as a journalist. I enjoy writing and bringing someone’s story to life. If I could spend the rest of my life traveling and impacting people’s lives through my stories, then I would be happy with the life I lived.
