Whoever is Trying to Bring You Down, Is Already Below You
Something in life we have to learn is not everyone will like you and that’s okay. Those people who don’t like, will probably talk about you so why would you want to be friends with them anyway?
I had a conversation with one of my good friends and she told me how upset she was that someone started a rumor about her because she thought everyone liked her. I’ve known her for a long time, so I obviously know the it’s a lie and she would never do anything like that. As I tried to reassure her to not worry about rumors that aren’t even true she did have a point. People will now see her in a different way because of this rumor.
The thing is people will always talk and you can’t control what comes out of their mouths but what you can control is the way you act when you hear the rumors. Don’t try to get even and start another round of rumors, instead be the better person and act like you never heard it.
There will always be people who will start these rumors to bring you down for whatever reason. Maybe they’re jealous, insecure, or just really don’t have anything better to do then to start rumors to make themselves feel better. So let these people start rumors, because they’re just making themselves look bad.
Be the better person and walk away from them and their lousy- @ss rumors. Yes, theses rumors might change people’s perspective about you but if their view of you changes because of a rumor, then do you really want to be friends with these people too?
At the end of the day what matters is that the people you care about know the real truth. Because at the end of the day these are the people who will have your back no matter what and stupid rumors won’t change that. These are your TRUE REAL FRIENDS!
