One of my many projects this year is photo-shoots. With photo-shoots, I’m able to add more content while capturing the essence of what I want my blog to stand for.

My first photo-shoot was Valentines themed!

I wanted this photo-shoot to represent love and all the different meanings it can have. Each girl that was part of the photo-shoot wrote their definition of love on a heart.

Another important part of photo-shoot was the international women’s shoot, that I will post on International Women’s Day in March. Each girl wrote what it means to be a women in their own words. I can’t wait to post it on the blog soon!

Ironically since it was my first photo-shoot, the weather was bad but we had a positive mindset all day. It was grey through out the whole day but thank God it didn’t rain! It was really cold and I am super thankful for the girls who came out.

I’m very thankful to each girl that took the time to get up early and bear the cold weather. Each one came with a smile on their face, looking absolutely beautiful in their Valentine outfits!

So thank you Amanda, Sandra, Susie and Tori for being part of my first photo-shoot!

Also big thanks to my sister, Elizabeth for being the photographer. She practiced with the camera settings and taking pictures in advanced to prepare for this photo-shoot. And also thanks to my other sister, Rubi who looked after the props we couldn’t use at the gardens.

First photo-shoot was a learning experience that will prepare us for the next one. Most important lesson- Prepare for the unexpected and say positive!

I am already planning the next photo-shoot that will be Spring themed and will be at the end of this month! So here is to the first and many photo-shoots in the future!

Love Always,

Lidia
